Gasp! I think you mean "The Beat", sir!
Now I need to queue up "Save it for Later". Also, now that we're going down a music rabbit hole, General Public's "Tenderness" is one of the greatest songs ever recorded. Fight me! (queues that one up too)
It sounds like you have seen an amazing amount of concerts of amazing bands. Did you keep any of the ticket stubs? (the mark of the true music geek!)
PS: I'll admit it: I had to look up Ian & Sylvia. - mjones242
Did they change their name or just add English for North America? I was always happy just to find my way home let alone keep ticket stubs. The only exception is that my son framed our passes and some pics from the Desert Trip festival we went to a few years back and gave it to me for Christmas - Stones, Neil, Dylan, McCartney, the Who and Roger Waters. That one is really special cause of the fact that it was just the two of us for four days in California
When I was a kid I thought her and Dave Stewart were married. Don't know why or if they ever "hooked up", but yeah, she definitely had an unconventional - but sexy AF - way about her. - mjones242
I meant to say that it was my ex that had fantastic legs...

Yeah, apparently there was an American band by the same name so they had to change it for the North American market. (as an aside, remember "Bush X" back in the 90s in Canada?)
Awesome that your son framed those tickets and pics that captured the event. Very cool gift and certainly more interesting than a shoebox full of stubs that likely won't ever see the light of day!

I’m sure you do too.
Anybody who loves music should watch this documentary series, Soundbreaking. I think it was produced by George Martin and it is really about the history of music production. There are fascinating bits about Lennox/Stewart as well as Floyd of course and the Beatles, Brian Wilson, Phil Spector, right through. It is an amazing piece. It’s on Amazon Prime

I went to a 67s game at the civic centre as a teenager and we snuck into the stadium side. It had been completely abandoned pre renegades and completely trashed. You could walk through the walls in the broadcast booths. Quite the experience. - joel878

They still play there, just changed a wee bit. - Garnie
We used to sneak into RR games. We’d either glue old tickets together and use pins to perforate the end and hold our thumb over the date or just get a group charge a fence at the same time and scatter.

You forgot to mention jack off with a can of tuna under your nose, between each of these.

I think they did date at 1 time? I’ll have to see what Dr. Google says...hold my beer.
