How did they leave this one off of that play list?

My favourite instrumental piece of all-time.

- mjones242

Zeppelin is the best example of a band that you know way more songs than you realized.

Another one to a lesser extent, The Eurythmics.

And Zep paved the way for this, 1 of the greatest pieces ever.

I like Rush but I don't love Rush. Great piece though!

My favourite part of that video:

Prince, who just eviscerated everyone on stage with his performance, lobs the guitar over his head where it mysteriously disappears into the heavens (never to return?), and walks off like a boss.

Prince was something else.

It’s on there too, all the acoustics.

I had no idea this existed but here’s a bootleg from the time I saw them in 1970 in Ottawa. Show was at arena where 67s play. We had actually gone to see the opening act Savoy Brown. Went down and stood right in stage when Zeppelin came on. I remember being most impressed by Page’s acoustic set.

There’s apparently a bootleg of whole concert I’ll see if I can download.

They definitely have a lot more hits than just "Sweet Dreams", that's for sure.

"Love is a Stranger", for example, is such an underrated (forgotten?) classic.

The Civic Centre is where I saw Rush front row - 1st concert ever. 😍🥰😍

Would have loved to see Zep back in the day.

I was only 5 months old in 4/70 🤣

Yeah, that's kind of like me with Floyd and Zep -- I could listen to any of their output on any given day and enjoy the (frank) out of it.

Mine was the Beach Boys. I was humiliated cause I had to leave before it was over because my dad was picking me up.

Finding this review with the pics is a wild memory rush. I bet I’m in the one of Plant at the bottom.

Saw them at wonderland of all places. They were such a great band. I saw some good shows there - English Beat I remember. Ian and Sylvia did a weird televised reunion thing.

Gasp! I think you mean "The Beat", sir!

Now I need to queue up "Save it for Later". Also, now that we're going down a music rabbit hole, General Public's "Tenderness" is one of the greatest songs ever recorded. Fight me! (queues that one up too)

It sounds like you have seen an amazing amount of amazing concerts of amazing bands. Did you keep any of the ticket stubs? (the mark of the true music geek!)

PS: I'll admit it: I had to look up Ian & Sylvia.

I can't say I know many of their deep cuts but damned if they didn't have sparkling singles. "Here Comes the Rain Again" is so damned good too.

Annie Lennox is an amazing artist. "Walking on Broken Glass" is a pretty fantastic solo work -- fun video too!

I'm sure I've listened to everything on "Diva" and "Medusa" hundreds of times. But she was worth it; goddamn she had fantastic legs

I went to a 67s game at the civic centre as a teenager and we snuck into the stadium side. It had been completely abandoned pre renegades and completely trashed. You could walk through the walls in the broadcast booths. Quite the experience.

I’m sure you can do it for less. What’s nice about these systems is that they’re fully integrated into nice looking machines. The single unit that holds 9 plants fits nicely on a kitchen counter and you just fill it up with water and turn it on. The 27 plant is 3 of these on a nice looking stand that goes anywhere in the house.

But yeah, if you’ve got a basement spot for a DIY system and you’re going to tend to it, that’s a really good way to go.

- Canada Cup

Really nothing to tend to, just add water and let the pump do the rest.

When I was a kid I thought her and Dave Stewart were married. Don't know why or if they ever "hooked up", but yeah, she definitely had an unconventional - but sexy AF - way about her.
