We have to put cut flowers up on a bookshelf to keep him out of them. After he eats the flowers, he goes in the basement, pukes the stuff up and heads back for more. They say Poinsettia are poisonous, that’s one of his favs... he’s still here. I have a bay tree that I winter indoors. He eats that too. Swear the franker would eat a cactus. Both the dog and cat love fresh blueberries, olives, carrots and they are crazy crazy about asparagus. - Woderwick
That's so classic. Your cat has some bizarre tastes. I had a cat that would sleep flopped out on a dresser. I would get cat grass for him to eat. One day he puked while on the dresser so it ran down the wall.
Another cat would insist on sitting in a potted lily on the floor. Had to sit in the lily until he killed it. That cat also bit all the drawstrings off of any track pants and ate them. It took forever to figure out where the drawstrings were going, till they showed up in the litterbox. That little (frank)er also loooved rubber, including condoms and would take them from the garbage and run away with them and growl when you tried to take it away. Actually growl! A total lap cat otherwise. I'm like what the (frank) is wrong with you, stop being a Richard! Great cat.
You’re definitely eating lettuce but they’re not big plants. The mini tomatoes are slow. I started 3 plants before Christmas. I’ve eaten about 8, there’s another 20 or so on there and one plant further behind just starting to produce fruit.
If you want any kind of supply, you really need the 27 pod machine which is about $600 US. My plan is to use it to start lots and transplant and start more and move some outside as it warms up.
I haven’t got it all figured out yet. - Canada Cup

Lots of hydroponic plans on youtube that you can make for well less than $100.

I’m sure you can do it for less. What’s nice about these systems is that they’re fully integrated into nice looking machines. The single unit that holds 9 plants fits nicely on a kitchen counter and you just fill it up with water and turn it on. The 27 plant is 3 of these on a nice looking stand that goes anywhere in the house.
But yeah, if you’ve got a basement spot for a DIY system and you’re going to tend to it, that’s a really good way to go.

So much stuff from the classic rock bands still holds up. This song would not be out of place on any alternative album from about 1990 onwards. It still has a real contemporary sound.

For me, Bonzo's drumming on this one is the greatest ever
