Again, agree. Just look at his puck handling during a few of those power plays last night. When he has room you can see his skill. I just think, as you said, it's going to take him a while to get comfortable. He has to get confident that he isn't going to get hurt if he takes a heavy hit.

Yea it’s almost impossible to do anything always looking over your shoulder, especially be an effective NHL player. Hopefully he starts to turn things around

He cant even get into the phantoms lineup with any consistency. No NHL for him

I also remember you hating on NAK for no apparent reason, telling everyone he wasn't going to be an NHL player and how much he stinks.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Yeah. Almost like he’s a vet going through preseason. Imo it’s just pure confidence. Was hoping the motor and aggressive play with kase in his wing would help.

Also with who is out they needed to fire the puck more. Yea rangers blocked a lot of shots. A lot of our shots were also easily telegraphed.

Gonna be in tough against the Bruins with six regulars out, but hey, you never know.

And that’s the issue i see, I can’t stop feeling that he is doing everything he can not to get his bell rung.

I felt he was more physical for two games after he took that boarding. But kind of backed off against Washington.

His first two seasons he did come on late each season. Hoping it’s more this than being a head case. (Literal and figurative).

Seems like a good idea to squeeze in the extra practice today. I would love to hear G, Jake and all the covid protocol guys comments during a game. Maybe they did their video chat while watching last night. Or maybe they can’t stand to watch it, missing out, but I would be interested to know.

Said this during the playoffs. I would pay to watch an uncensored game. I want to hear all the comments in between the whistles. Of course the lip reading of the f. U is easy to determine. But I want to know what was said before and after.

Know more than you any day of the week in any of the 4 sports. NAK is a replaceable 4th line player. He was passed over because he didnt show poop. Got his chance after like 6 people in front of him got hurt or what not. Kudos to him for making the most of his last chance with the flyers. I am sure you always knew he was a solid player nhl player. I mean he showed in much in the AHL

Strome stink's.

Well you'd view skill-sets differently than me then. To each their own. I just don't see him making highend plays with the puck very often and his lateral movement isn't that great.
- Dave21Brown

I agree. We all know hindsight is 20/20 but with his injury history, he should have went back to juniors and then started in the ahl instead of making the team. The same trajectory they had Morgan frost on.

But I remember the fanbase was screaming for talent during those years and hexy decided he was good enough to make the team. Either way he would have had concussion issues but wondering how his development would've turned out if he had gone the slow route.

Seems like nak is destined to be a Kraken in the long run. I'd hate to see that happen. He's been a very good role player with nice upside.

If frost played d as well as patty he would’ve been up quicker imo. I don’t think patty had anything to gain with another year in junior. Past is the past now though. I could see him sit a game after all are healthy.

And good on provie. Great start to his career. Ironman,,,,the Russian immortal.

In what context. Since you are always so philosophical. Or just play devils advocate.

Who can fill his role right now would be my question to you?

No one can fill his 4th line role in any way. He is an important cog. My bad.

Well of course he's replaceable, but good teams rely on good not great role players like him. He's probably going to have a long career as a 35-40 point per year guy who punishes the opposition with body checks. There are a lot worse players out there

Agree. Some can try but right now on our team we do not have a replacement for him. Others could fill in. But not the same.

If NAK never plays another game for the flyers, do you think that will have any effect on where they finish going forward?
