Agreed. Petan is a guy who is skilled enough to be playing top 9 on a lot of teams and top 6 on some. He could be a guy to get moved, he won’t get much of a return but I could see him as a part of a package - although I’d rather see Vesey get moved.

Fighting the puck. Made a couple of nice moves, but he just can't hang on to the puck to get what he wants. He has actually made some nice defensive plays, but on the other side of things, he still looks off.

Watching Thornton on 1st line and when Hyman is back I think Jumbo can stay where he is and moving Hyman to line 2 should really help JT and Nylander.

Thornton (much like Hyman) seems to know what his job is on that line - get the puck and find one of the 2 snipers & bang in the odd rebound etc.

Added bonus is Joe in front of the goalie as a screen is a much bigger body and he has hands to tip and redirect one for a goal like he did on the beauty slap pass from Muzzin tonight.

Soup is the victim in this but it is what it is and he can move up / down when there is a need like days off for Joe or injuries.
