I just finished my basement, just waiting to order some trim pieces and wood for support post. I had a electrician do the wiring and spray foam guy for insulation, other than that i did it all. Tore down the existing 70's wood paneling walls the previous owners painted white and replaced some studs. Ive done so many renos during this pandemic.

Need a plumber to reroute some water lines, electrician to clean up ceiling wiring that we're leaving exposed.

otherwise plan would be to glue extruded foam to walls/studs, put up all the framing, drywall after electrical rough ins are done. I don't see the big deal
