How is it nonsensical response, you asked what he could say that might make a difference.
I responsed with him saying he was stepping down, didn't say it would happen, but it would make a difference if he did. You call people out for reading comprehension on hear, and then don't like the answers they give you from Your posts. Maybe you should read your own posts over and then maybe you might get a answer you like.

0% any coach quits a job guaranteeing 4 million next season and the remainder of this season.

The "just quit" crowd is hilarious.

Is that what you're saying? Krueger should walk away?

If your sitting next to a guy at work ( hypothetically)
Guy has covid.

Would you rather he be wearing a mask?
Or does it really matter?

- Boss34

Again, because jfitz is a complete putz portraying me incorrectly in his childless explosion, let me be clear...I wear a mask every day when I go out in public..for work, for pleasure, to the store and other chores. I go along, to get along...because it is a small price to pay for other peace of mind.

Well

To answer your question...
1st, masks were recommended, after not being recommended, to keep the infected person from transmitting to others, not to protect oneself. I suppose there is a very low level of protection, but not enough for that to be the purpose of wearing a mask.

So, I do believe your hypothetical situation isn't highly relevant...but, I'll answer below.

However, the CDC study shows there really isn't a significant difference between wearing and not wearing from day 1 through day 80 from the start of symptoms. Social distancing is probably far, far more significant.

2nd,
-Is he/she symptomatic in this hypothetical situation? If so, he/she should be home and is a fvcking douche bag for not complying. Again, the mask doesn't provide for very good protection to the uninfected (me in this case).
-Is he Asymptomatic? If so, according to the publicized study from U of Fl, the transmission rate is pretty low...but a chance none the less, and me wearing a mask, again doesn't provide a high level of protection to me.

Lastly, as was mentioned here, and by Fauci originally...it is alarming how much people adjust, pull it down, and generally touch the mask...all things were are told not to do.

I think that in general, most people have been wise to staying home if they feel symptomatic.

Also, why are these employees not working from home if they have a desk job and are working close together?

I bet if those 2 teams have played the Sabres the same amount the Islanders have so far they would have more points

If Ralph lasts past Monday I would be surprised

Obviously it's a complete sh!t show.

What does firing the coach really do at this point?

Cost ownership more money
Probably ruin our draft position
Keep the same "core" of overpaid losers.

I'm trading everyone except 9 right now: this isnt working.

To keep the people that pay to watch this team and are invested in this team somewhat at bay

But remember Kim and company know more than the average fan but yet the average fan could coach this team to the same if not better record.

They could pull someone out of the stands like they did in Eddie with the Knicks and this team would be in the same or better position overall.

Goaltending is an issue but today was the first time I actually watched intently and watched this teams best player gain the red line and dump it in. That is a huge issue. Nobody is trying to carry the puck in, which to me tells me that is a based on the system.

This team had enough talent to be in the playoff conversation (sorry Terry signing Hall does not make you a cup contender) but the fact remains whatever Ralph's system is (not a lot of people can figure out exactly what his system is) stinks.

Again he asked what he could say during his post game that could make a difference.
Didn't think it would be taken seriously I came back with Well he could say I am stepping down with my duties as coach of the Sabres, because it would make a difference. Did I mean it would happen NO, would it make a difference YES. So maybe it was bad reading comprehension, what you and Fitz butt buddies know.

When did America start censoring people for the way they think?

I thought in America you can say what you want that is the point of freedom

I didn't know America was about the higher ups deciding what is ok to say.

Left or right should have the right to say whatever they want and not be censored because that is what true freedom is about.

Agree it doesn't make a difference in the PO race, they are cooked.

Firing Ralph and staff is a step towards stopping the damage they have inflicted on players who have severely regressed from past seasons.
That is the primary benefit.

Appreciate the perspective.
I applaud your mask usage as a sign of respect also.

I'm kinda torn personally.

I feel safer wearing a mask.

Plenty of studies showing for both sides.

My own opinion, I see the " sneeze test" , where someone covers their mouth and nose.
Common sense shows that airborne particles are caught and seem to lessen the spray. Which should lead to less transmission.

I would absolutely wear a mask , if I was at work next to someone who was showing symptoms of not. Yes, they should stay home, but that wasnt the senario I provided.

I'm not saying I'm 100% right, just my own opinion.

I agree that changes coaches a few weeks ago, would have been the move to make.

Now I'm indifferent. What's the point?

Play a few good games
Keep overpaid players

I'm rebuilding.... again

Ugh. I had no idea so I just checked...his contract runs through the 2021-2022 season (I'm sure most of you know that ... I didn't). He's not going anywhere. No way the Pegula's pay him for not coaching here next season.

They're probably thinking "Just get us through this lost season. We have a shot at the # 1 overall draft pick, and then there's free agency and both of those situations will make us better". I honestly think that's what they think and what is happening here.

I worry about the younger players.
I'm tired of our youth being subjected to a losing culture.
It's not healthy.

I firmly believe that this is part of this franchise's problem over the past decade.

It needs to change as quickly as possible before more of this franchise's talented youth becomes tainted with the stench of failure.
