Can someone remind me why Patrick was considered a top pick in the draft. I know he missed a year and this season has been weird, but I’m just not seeing anything out of him.

He does seem like he has less jump than early in the year. I think he can be a solid 4th line centre haha.

Joking aside. Not sure how he will end up but I give him the whole year to see if he can break through.

102 points as a 16 year old in the WHL and was head and shoulders above everyone in his draft class. Also a little early to be this critical considering he just getting back to play after a year and half off dealing with his migraine condition.

Really hoped Patrick would get to shoot in the SO. Not a bad first game back. Coots looked great, maybe his normal self, but it was nice to see. Good point earned. Time for Tahoe!

There's skill, and then there's Russian skill.

Panarin's SO goal was sick.

Another puzzling comment. There are how many teams in the league? 4 QB's threw for 4K. So obviously that's a pretty big deal. I also clearly mentioned that he was the front runner in the SB year for MVP before getting injured. Do you not recall that?

Foles led them to the super bowl. Not wentz. How many q b threw for over 4,000 this year. You say 4. NFL stats say different. If you talking about the one year he did. Still who cares. What is he now. Average.

I don’t think I’m out of line being disappointed. I also don’t think I’m being overly critical. I never said I was giving up on him or that he is hopeless, but players have missed long periods of playing time with injuries before snd have come back and played well. Additionally, you’d think the fact that all of the players have had their normal training routines interrupted this season would even the playing field somewhat.

I’d just like to see some sign of life from him.

I don't even care if he scores a lot of points anymore.

I just want to see some consistency in his compete, his defensive game, some improvement in his team play, some doggedness on the puck.

We're running out of excuses for him.

Wentz was injured. That's not his fault. What has Foles done since? The question is what could he be with a good team around him and a competent receiver core? I think far more than average.
