I don't like this.

Trading Leclar, Desjardins and Dionne for Recchi was one of the many mistakes made by the Habs in the mid 90's.

Bad time to bring up the Rod Langway trade?

This one hurts me less as I don't remember him playing in a Habs jersey.

And we won two cups without him.

First two on my list would be:

- Get rid of the trapezoid.

- Go to no-touch icing. This one especially pisses me off. The NHL had a very, very simple solution that works for every other franking league in the world. Instead, they come up with something much more ridiculously complicated, which doesn't enhance the game at all.

If the purpose of these rule changes is to increase scoring, doesn't no-touch icing make more sense, as the defending team can't make a line change?

The most popular game in the world is probably the simplest sport in the world - soccer but it’s probably popular because it’s the cheapest to play.

If they want to “grow hockey”, they need to get more people to see it live. So much is lost when you can’t under what they’re doing at speed.

I know you’re making a different point but I’m too lazy - Matthews level lazy - to scroll back.

5-pin bowling.

It's at least 50% cheaper than 10-pin bowling.

I've always wanted to try batting.

I used to practice rugby at Sunnybrook, and there were always guys there hitting in the cricket batting cages (or whatever they are called). Looked like fun.

I saw an interview 100 years ago - can't remember who, but one of the Leafs were saying that nobody really wanted to do it, but Glenn Anderson was fanatical about getting it done.

I think most of us just want a better goalie.

He has also consistently showed us he can’t take his play to another level when it matters.

Time to move on this offseason.

- Santo_44

Ya, he definately lost 2 of those 5 games vs Columbus where he didn't score a single goal. What a bust, get us a new goalie STAT!
