Leafs should try to avoid Winnipeg imo. - MaximusAurelius
And how would they do that?
Intentionally lose games if it looks like they'll play each other in the playoffs? |

In what turned out to be a soft division, this superstar team are where they should be. |

By finishing first.
I see Winnipeg as the two or three seed. Probably two. |

Weird it’s Chicago again with good tending stats, sort of like NYI.

Yeah, I don’t quite get the narrative that the Northern Division is weaker than every other.
We have Ottawa.
Hell, the West has all three California teams, who were franking awful last year. And they are all over .400 this year. How does that happen? |

Yeah when Montreal started hot, it was because they're so good. When the Leafs are first the division sucks. |

It’s time to see the Hutch and if he looks better when we finally play 1/2 decent in front of him. |

I thought Thornton looked good. He still has hands, brains and size. Matthews is ridiculous. He could win the Richard, Hart and Selke. He is a more complete Ovechkin.
Also, Nylander haters are dumb. |

Not looking to start an argument
Thornton looked old and slow last night. I think the only LW that can keep us with M&M are Mikheyev or Hyman |

Andersen stole the game last night.
Leafs D, and forwards trying to play D especially the second line have been terrible lately. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Andersen bounced back with a solid game after being (frank)ing embarrassing the game prior. His inconsistency is appalling.
The Leafs should be eviscerating teams like OTT but, instead, we get nail-biting 1 goal games.
But hey, who cares about that? The Leafs are 12-3-2, bro! |

We don’t see Keefe mixing the lines much, like the way he started the Tavares line and the 1st PP I think?
I’d like to see him flip JT and Kerfoot for a game.
JT Mikey and Engvall
Kerfoot with Hyman and pretty boy. |

Really? I thought he controlled the puck and moved it down low quite well. He did score two fake goals lol. Wish he had got the Waved Hattie. |

Thornton does like 15 smart little things in the oz zone along the boards each shift.
dude is 41, I never really watched him much since he was out west most of his career..must have been a beast in his prime..Leafs should get him a cup |

They have the second best goal differential in the league, FFS.
This is why Leafs Nation can’t have nice things. |

Mikheyev and Engvall together provides good speed and size
Tavares has worked miracles with less 👍 |

I mean, they did just recently outscore Vancouver 15-5 or something over 3 games, so they have just recently eviscerated a weaker team. Does that count? That contributed to their winning record too. |
