I don't think so. Leafs played a disciplined game. They got very good goaltending in this win. It is what a team needs to do in the playoffs where wins are often about grinding it out.

For Leaf fans, there appears to be a much larger question looming on the horizon. It has to do with the fact that the Leafs are becoming to look more and more like a one line team.

Switcheroo from Spatseroo because clearly Nylander and Tavares are finished as scoring threats.

The Leafs are scoring at a rate 50% higher than the Senators, but we greatly appreciate your concerns.

You can troll better than this, Spatsie.

When Nylander finally gets on the scoresheet again this place is going to cream its pants.

Should be fun.

Forgive my OCD this morning, but damn, if we had beaten Montreal on Saturday, we would have a commanding lead in the division.

I thought Tavares looked better last night.

Not “normal” - just better than “the pile of poop” that he’s looked like for the past little while.

Tavares had a few of the best chances, fancy stats show he had the highest xg

Leafs kinda did a reverse of the game before, started out poop and got better at the game went along

I was thinking that when I was browsing the standings this morning.

They have a chance to redeem themselves Saturday. Win tonight and sat can still really open things up.

Yeah that 7 point to 3 point swing hurt. A little breathing room would have been nice, allow us to rest Ander8en near the end of the season, get past more injuries...

One the other hand 1st or 2nd is going to end up playing pretty much the same level of team. There seems to be not much to pick and choose between Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver is turning things around also.

Ya no home ice advantage and no real difference in opponents - probably for all 4 that make it.

Banking some points now will give them more time to play with the roster and rest some guys as needed - only real advantage I think.

Andersen stole the game last night.

Leafs D, and forwards trying to play D especially the second line have been terrible lately.
