I would agree, he should be able to catch on to the 4th line. I like his speed and compete.
- wcorvette

I think if you plugged him in the lineup now he would be fine. He is what 24 or 25? Not sure his contract status. He would come in cheaper than Raffle as well. These are the types you need to fill out the roster.

I laughed my ass off reading this. The arrogance displayed here is staggering.

Didn't seem arrogant to me. Just seemed like some good, common sense advice.

Heck, it's good advice even without covid. lol

Do you read anyone else consistently giving advice on how to handle covid or routinely bringing it up? The arrogance is in his thinking that he is the educator of all us lower educated beings and he needs to tell us what we should do. As in a previous post, he claimed that as an intellectual and a scholar, people like him need to be a filter of information to make sure that the correct information is delivered to those who aren't capable of deciphering info for themselves.

Because everything upsets everyone these days

Good god. I pop in here to tie up loose ends and you guys are still talking about me. I am touched. Honestly, I am not worthy.

It would take too long and be too boring to answer your question in detail, so let me resort to inelegant metaphors. The fault lines in ways of life run very deep, and I am a cheeky stick of dynamite in the many anal fissures that proliferate here.

The interesting thing about it is this though: with a few exceptions, the ones who bemoan the loss of rugged masculinity etc. are precisely the ones who bleat the loudest.

There was no arrogance. Maybe some familiarity (the BLT reference, like someone sidling up and putting his arm on your shoulders and saying hey buddy to begin a conversation).

But I meant well. And if I had begun by striking a more serious note, I guarantee you that the same clowns would have found me pompous.

No, "peeps" don't. One of the many delusions of these morons are how they think they represent the mainstream. It is the same reason why there was shock and disbelief when Trump lost. (Like: I know no one who didn't vote for Trump. How COULD IT BE?).

One of the many displays of idiocy of these guys is:

1. They implore me to leave, and never learn that this will have no effect, even after 100 such data points.
2. They cannot yet figure out that the best way to "cancel" someone is not to engage, even though I show them exactly how to do it with them.
3. They show me they don't care about me by obsessively posting to my every remark.

Then, they complain when I look at points 1-3 as evidence they are dumb as rocks.

It has nothing to do with being well meant. It was all about being pompous. What makes you think anyone wants your advice? It's a hockey website. It is the epitome of arrogance.

This is just another in a long list of ironic posts. You call people idiots for wanting you to stop your constant partisan political posts and covid posts trying to educate others. They don't want to cancel you, they want to cancel the nonsense you post. It is also ironic that you claim that people are morons for thinking they are mainstream. You don't know what mainstream is. You only know what your sheepherder has told you what to believe and think. That when they complain you take that as they're dumb as rocks when there is universal disdain for what you do. Rather than looking inward towards yourself is a reflection on you rather than on others.

You claim to be intelligent and smarter than everyone, yet you routinely say the most stupidest crap that a person could say.
