More likely tonight?

A) Pens hold their opponent under 3 goals for the second time this year.

B) The ZAR goal-scoring streak reaches 4 games.

C) Sully changes the top 2 lines.

- Tojo.

2 out of 3 ain't bad. And ZAR at least got an apple.

Dunno if this is confirmation bias but I’m more encouraged by looking like an offensively potent team against a Trotz team than I am worried about getting blown out by a Caps team out for blood after we blanked them in the last series.

I'll feel better when the Pens can string together two games in a row like this.

Yeah and that Caps team was desperate to not lose 4 in a row overall as well. They wanted it more.

Getting 4 on the Isles feels good.

- MattStrat

I think I’m convinced this team is fixable even with the small amount of assets we have. Not having a hole on the blue line when healthy and actually having a surplus of top 4 LDs we can trade from and Jarry righting the ship help a ton.

It's very hard to do this year. Especially next game seems like it's gonna be very chippy. Islanders seem annoyed.

ZAR must of lost weight. He's definitely skating better than we've ever seen from him.

What happens if Matheson ends up not sucking?

I mean, what does that do to the narrative around here?

- TheGame316

We can keep whining about how the third line isn't really a third line.

Yeah, they're going to come out swinging on Saturday. I may not be able to watch the game though.

Def the best overall game of the year. D looked better. Less brain farts by malkin and Letang. Watching the crease. Shooting. Jarry looked great. PP still needs to get going though. They have to move some personnel around.

I keep seeing/hearing we are interested in Virtanen and/or Bennett. I am wondering if they are waiting until McCann is healthy before they make a deal.

I still felt we have 3 good lines and one line which is lacking

If the idea that ZARs had chronic shoulder issues for two seasons is true, then that’s a huge factor. Even an upper body injury can affect your skating through mentality. There were times his rookie season where he looked somewhat competent offensively with Malkin. A return to that is big for the Blueger unit’s scoring prospects.

Make a line with McCann and we have something. I still say when McCann is back bring both Legare and Poulin in for the tryouts. Won't happen though.

Yeah we have literally zero to lose from the 9 game try out. Our current fourth line is unplayable so who cares if Poulin and Legere also end up being unplayable.

A bunch of us end up having a wrong opinion about a trade and it's really not a big deal. Seriously no idea why you're so upset over it.

It does change the outlook of the team. But it's going to take more for me. Great game for him tonight.

He's a much more active player this season. Quicker to the puck. Tougher in the corners.
