Yeah Malkin is off on his own. Zucker isn’t helping, and maybe a different winger helps to flip some kind of a mental switch, but giving Malkin Guentzel isn’t a silver bullet to get Geno going. I think it’s a good step, but it may not work.

On the other hand, I think stylistically Zucker would be way better with Crosby and putting him with Sid may actually be the silver bullet solution to turning his season around.

Its really about that time now that players..especially goalies begin to round into form. With no preseason and usually the first few weeks of a season being meh for a lot of goalies, im not surprised to see jarry playing well now.
