I'm not overly familiar with the Gold system, so I need to do some reading on that to make any type of cogent comment.

Here's a suggestion: End of season, have a 3-way play-off for draft seeding (#1 has a bye, 2 & 3 play best of 3, then winner plays best of 3: Draft seeding is set by random draw for the final 3 teams with the overall loser picking 1st, 2d place choosing 2d, 3d place gets last....). Heck, I dunno…..What I do know is that the worst teams have consistently been dorked in the draft, so SOMETHING has to change.....

No more games played! these guys play too much as it is. Only more games if the season is shortened to 75, like it once was.

Not sure if you're following the GR Griffins this season.. but all their regular season home games are on the Grand Rapids local TV affiliate WXSP (Wood tv 8). That's channel 235 for Comcast cable in HD. Not sure if anyone else on this blog is in GR.

Griffins are 2-2 so far on the season. I'll be seeing how defense prospect Donovan Sebrango plays the next few games. I can already see he's a gritty player (as advertised). Already had a fight last night in Rockford (Blackhawks farm team).
