Spezza, Kerfoot, and Mikheyev are all decent.. Mikheyev had a slow start but has still been doing other things well.

Agreed, team depth up front is not a problem. There’s lots of guys to slot in and out of the 4th and even 3rd lines. Giving up a never is going to be for another guy fighting for a slot isn’t a sign of desperation.

Dermott/Lehtonen haven’t been problems and Bogo had one bad day and has generally been ok

Mikheyev is good but I have a problem with him in the top 6.

He is a good puck transporter but kills a lot of plays with poor shot selection and hockey IQ.

Like kappy I think he is born for the 3rd line and should stay there.

I'd like to see Lehtonen get into some games.

He has looked like a legit NHL D so far and he will get better.

You have to wonder if he will start to ask Dubas to look around the league for a new home if he doesn't get playing time soon...

Scoring isnt the problem, and hasnt been for Toronto.the defense and goaltending is the Achilles heel and will continue to be.
Doesnt matter if your team scores 10,if they allow 11...they still lose lol.

come on dewey just one example?🤦‍♂️

6 of his 12 pts came from 2 games, that means he has 6pts in the other 14 games.
- Symba007

Danault is Montreal's first line center and has six points in 15 games with ZERO goals. He's also playing with the top two wingers on the Habs. Shame on the second line RW of the Leafs for only having 12 points which would only be tied for 3rd on the Habs superstar filled lineup.

the Danault-Gallagher-Tatar line has taken main defensive coverage, playing against top lines. Habs are running 3 lines fairly equally, they don't really have a clear top line but so far the most productive line has been the Suzuki-Drouin-Anderson line.
