I’m feeling broken. Six straight long days of demo in prep for floors. And that’s just the upper floor. Egads. 20,000 trips up and down stairs.

If you’re burnt out on the project bud, pay them to do it. I’m terrible for hiring a skilled tradesmen but doing all the dirty work for them in hopes of a better price. Or it could be the guilt of paying someone to do something I know I can. Was just brought up like that I guess.

Guy installing the floors won’t demo now. His son worked with him, but because of Covid, his son has decided to stay home with their 1 year old. He would take the job but only if we demo’d. This guy is incredible installing floors. It will take him 2 weeks to do both floors...guy is a perfectionist.
Demo seems like a good way to save some cash too.

Leafs acquire Galchenyuk from the Canes. Depth and flexibility. He’s cleared waivers, so no issue there. Plus, no quarantine required which also helps. Korshkov and Warsofsky announced going to Carolina.
