Isn’t that the definition of insiders? They just pick up stuff that GM and agents want out there. Guys like Kipper were better connected to player agents. They lose their pipelines if they (frank) around too much.

Bobo gets his info the same way. It’s still useful, you just have to run it through the logic meter. Friedman guaranteeing that Leafs are going to get a top 6 forward at the deadline is an example. How can you guarantee that’s their top priority right now?

He’s more of a gamble but with Vesey sucking and Engvall maybe getting plucked off waivers soon is cause for concern.

(I read through the piece rapidly, wasnt too interesting imo - i mIght have misread/misunderstood that part). I could understand the anger (not the being a piece of poop part) if that indeed were the case
