Dougie Hamilton would be sweet. - mjones242
Yes, we would get some bizarre and entertaining takes about why the team is performing so poorly if we had doogie hamilton on the roster. |

Shanahan also played with Federov.
I'm sure he can appreciate what Nylander brings to the table despite him being different. - Scabeh
Didn't Fedorov win 2 Selkes?

What if someone were to not have shovelled in a month and packed down the snow with their vehicles. How long would that take? - bryant
Reminds me of the great Boston snowpile:
https://www.cnn.com/2015/...-finally-melts/index.html
It took until July to melt.
I'm assuming your driveway will be similar. |

Hamilton 7.5mln AAV/6y contract.
Would be an awesome add for the Leafs.
Could obviously fit him and Hyman in -- by shedding/trading Andersen, Willie and Kerfoot. |

Not going to read back. How much heat was delivered for Andersen’s 806 save percentage? |

Interesting that Mirtle along with his sources believes Granlund is the winger the Leafs want(tried to get him in the summer)
Apparently they have 2M in cap space right now(don’t ask me how) so they could add a player soon or keep accumulating space.

Not too bad, but we needed him to be a bit better...like 1 save better. |

Yep. Great until he coughs the puck up for the first time. Then look out.
Really though, if Bettman allowed us an additional 15 mil in cap space and an extra 5 men on the roster, we could fill a lot of needs on this team. |

Just under 1.3M left in LTIR + Vesey’s remaining cap hit of under 700K
I’m assuming Vesey would be the guy out of the lineup.
Granlund’s remaining daily cap hit is 2.6M, btw. |

Who is Vesey?
I've never heard of him, and I've listened to the commentary of every Leafs game so far this year. |

I’d assume if NSH is selling then they’d be willing to retain cap.
Vesey might even be a guy going the other way in that scenario..gives him another kick at the can this year on a depleted seller.
Wouldn’t mind Trenin or Haula coming back as minor throw ins. Would be nice to have one more player who can play C. |

Me too. I was in my first year of high school when Jagr was drafted. Detroit took Keith Primeau. Peter Nedved went second. Owen Nolan went first. Nedved told a reporter "Don't tell anyone but he's better than me." He was pointing at Jagr. 🤣
