Hi Bobby - this isn't how it works. Testing and protocols still a requirement even after vaccination. I visit someone in a long-term care facility. New rules because of the new variants require daily testing as of this week. I must have a current valid negative test to get into the home even though I've been vaccinated. There may be an exception made for athletes by the Government that would reduce quarantine time to say a week, but it would also require NHL apporval. There won't be an exemption.

I'd do it. I'm not as high on Larkin as most Red Wings fans are. But Yzerman just made Larkin captain so I can't see it happening. I also think Dubas loves Willy and would never make this offer.

This team was always one learning to play defense away from being dangerous, but now that we're finally getting a faint sniff of that actually happening it seems like a good time to trade all the teams best players. 🤣

The Leafs have impressed me with their overall defensive play. Especially against the Habs. They're keeping their opponents to the outside like the Isles do. They don't give you much. They're getting better puck support from their forwards and their D are getting the puck out much quicker.

They do have lapses like all teams do. It's like they want to go back to being a run and gun team but then Keefe is able to dial them back into playing a more structured game. He's teaching them that they can create offense from their defense.

Be patient. Take what your opponent gives you and then pounce on opportunities. The power play is deadly so as long as that's firing, don't take any unnecessary chances 5 on 5.

I'd like to see the Leafs play a little more physical. Not smash mouth caveman hockey mind you. But finish your checks. At least stand up for yourself so you don't get run off the ice. You don't have to stand tall but you do have to stand up.
