Whats his save percentage been the past 6-7 games?
- Fakepartofme

Last 4 games - .920+. The 4 before - below .900.

He’s consistently inconsistent.

Tavares line is terrible, move Nylander down on to the 3rd line and let Kerfoot/Engvall/Mikey set him up.

Hopefully they shoot TAVARES with paint balls after the game for the beauty pass with 10 seconds left in the period.

Why did Rielly look off Matthews' one-timer in the slot 3v3?

And then skate back on that breakaway like an old dachshund?

- gravyface

Cuz he’s slow out of the gate anyways, unfortunately. Be nice to get some penalty calls in the 1st/2nd period. Not sure how many trips I counted.

I've read all your comments. You said he had a sub par game but then blame the last goal all on Rielly.

Yes, Rielly missed on his shot but that in no way should give Freddy a free pass.

I just don't understand why some guys seem to think the goalie should only save the easy ones.

Good goalies save almost all of them, whether they're easy or hard, whether the D is bad or good, whether the forwards back check or not. A goalie is the last line of defense and good ones make a difference. Jeezus, it's not that difficult.

When an opposing player gets passed the forwards, then the defense, A GOALIE IS SUPPOSE TO MAKE A SAVE.

Not once in a while, but MORE often than not. Period.

ps, I've always been a Freddy fan and happy we had him for the years we did. He su3ks right now. I'm losing faith in him to take us to the Cup. He might be too weak mentally to be consistent enough to win in the playoffs.

- Barb34

Yes, there is a difference between a "no chance" goal (tap-in on the crease) and a breakaway (50/50 chance), the latter should be stopped once in a while.

He's a good goalie. He's not terrible, he's not Toskala. He's a legit NHL starter. He's just not elite. Thankfully our team is good enough to win most nights despite what he's doing, but a 5-1 lead should be enough for a win. It's not like we were hemmed in getting shelled with chances either.

Why is Vesey on the 3rd line with 2 minutes left.
- Garnie

Hey guys relax. Tampa gave up 6 goals tonight. Oh wait Mcelhinney was in net. Anderson for Mchelinney to save cap

Past 9 games before the Montreal game he was 8-1. 2.61gaa, .926 and 1 shut out.

He was bad tonight.
But the whole team was as well.

He sh!t the bed, he's done it before. The level of choke would have made the Boston Strangler blush.

NHL would be awesome if every game ended zero zero.

We’ll get them Wednesday....maybe.

He did make some saves tho.

Two breakaway goals, he should be expected to make one.. The other goals werent hs fault but couldve found a way to save one of them.

Its just a bad game overall, im sure freddy will take the blame for the loss. It was a team loss. Some bad luck, bad D, and subpar goaltending.

They couldn't score one more goal?! Like where did the offense go?

I get that 5 goals should be enough but this is am offensive juggernaut or supposedly.

Well, when your captain has been a ghost, and he's playing with Nylander who colder than a witches tit its hard to generate offence. Of course they should be able to. That second line has been brutal.

I was so hoping we’d have moved him in the summer and just went with Campbell - Dell.

We could have signed Mario and Wayne with the savings.

I'd like people to stop saying its a soft team when the big bodies who were brought in are 1..injured or 2..just came back from injury.

Aren't the lightning some type of "complete" team who has all started defense? Shouldn't they work as a team and get a shut out every game!?

They play with a soft mentality.

Simmonds changed that a bit, but still nowhere near enough fight in the dog.

That move to get Galchenyuk might set up something else. All of a sudden, lots of centres. Is it time to vote Kerfoot off the Island?

I wish I still liked to booze. I used to like playing a drinking game where you took a drink everytime Stompin Tom said the word Snowmobile while signing that song.

I could now take it up a whole new level either drinking every time AA took a shot at Nylander, or cried about posters being mean to Freddie....

Dude if you live in a glass house you should not throw stones.....

Agree. That tying goal was not on the goaler... That was the defence and forwards...
- MisterBrown

What the hell was the defense to do when Freddy kicked it 6 feet in the air right into the slot?

Yeah they are going into their slump type issues. Its about 25% through the season. Better to get these issues out of the way.

Honeatly, sens beat Montreal and the jets. Leafs shouldnt have lost this but here we are with one point.
