Top of my bucket list is building my own place one day.

We had a GC reno our place a few years ago ....in hindsight he probably upcharged about 30-40% for this GC work. We're too busy now to do it ourselves but maybe one day.

I always say I would have preferred to just tell them the basics: number of bedrooms and bathrooms, make things blue, grey and white.

Then have them make all the other decisions. I’ll come back in six months, thank them and move in.

I couldn’t franking stand looking at paint chips, tile samples and bathroom fixtures.

The ref was 5 feet away looking right at it.... Sometimes you just miss it. I suspect it has more about not an ting to call a penalty in a team getting crushed already down 3-1.

We’re in the middle of a big Reno/addition. My wife pretty much does everything the GC would do. She loves hounding people on the phone.

That is a normal defensive zone play that happens 20 times a game. Now it's a penalty but tackling people isn't.

That's tough, neither if I could.

Edit: if I had to make a choice it would be Vesey but not based off his current play....based off how he played for a minute once in the past.

Giraffe has shown nothing but random luck once a season.

My Pops was a contractor so it's always been my out of office thing. Come home and grab the tool pouch ...I love it. Couldn't do it for a career but it's definitely my weekend re-energizer.

I was super-involved in our reno (full gut). My regret was not taking 6 months off and hiring my own subs and running the show. The GC was good but I don't know if he was six figures good.

I learned a lot working with him so the next one is me.
