This is shaping up to be really unfair for the Flyers if they have to face the Bruins in Lake Tahoe with barely any practice time and multiple players out because of Covid. The league should do the right thing and make the Rangers play in the Flyers place. - jd250
Jager and Forsberg were the two strongest guys I ever saw with the puck. Simply could not separate them. Extremely grateful they played here, albeit a short time for both.
Aren’t they practicing today?
Looks like not today but tomorrow, there is more than enough time for them to be prepared.

The Flyers haven't played a game is over a week and they will eventually get some practice before the 21st, but will be missing players for the game; right now 3 players but this could turn into many more. Meanwhile Boston hasn't missed a game. So how is this fair exactly? If the NHL must play this game on the 21st, the Rangers should be Boston's opponent.

The schedule is the schedule. It sucks, but I don't think it's unfair.

What? When should they play a game, when you are good and ready ? Who gives a crap, play the franking game.

These are grown men. They signed up for this, I’m sure they will survive. Your not going to ask the Rangers to play for you if the players had injuries would you ?

Of course not, but Covid is a different thing entirely. Almost entire teams are coming down with it and many games are being postponed. Why should an outdoor game of this importance to the league be played under these circumstances?

Of course they will survive, that is not my point. The league has already made contingency plans in case Covid was to impact any one team, that is why the Rangers were already on standby.

Did these guys forget how to play hockey? And how much does this game really mean to the league? It’s cool but how many new fans is this bringing in? If players continue to be added to protocol there’s a case for us to pull out but if this was the end of it we should 100% play.
My favorite from that series is when he walked it right to the front and roofed it - Peter Richards
Do you remember how bad then tending, and especially Fleury was? He couldn't stop a beach ball. Every shot seemed to go in. Bryz wasn't much better, but Fleury was terrible. I remember simmer scoring one.. he barely got a shot away..it came fluttering in slowly and MAF somehow let it by him..

Given that there won't be fans and they're losing money on the deal, the LT games are no more important than any other game.
