Kubalik!
Another nice play by everyone's current favorite Hawk of all time, Hagel. - SimpleJack
At this point, it doesn't matter if he doesn't score any goals this year. He's responsible
for so much pressure and great chances, he's worth it. He can develop a shot later. |

He didn't score, but that was a goal because of him. Good enough for me. |

2-3 chances earlier to get that puck out. |

Beauty dive there at the end. I'll take a hard working hawk who knows his role any day. Just one of the few who are running with the opportunities they were give this season. |

To borrow a phrase from Johnny Dangerously, Strome standing around with his dork in his hand on the goal. Wandering around aimlessly. |

That's why i want my dmen to protect the house, Z covers a guy and drifts out of the zone puck bounces the other way uncontested shot, sure lucky bounce but if Beaudin stays home they have a chance to stop that, they got lucky in the 1st 3-4 minutes of the game, same pair 16 gets tied up fortunately puck bounces enough to not get a clean shot on goal, again no Beaudin anywhere to be found. |

This is(so far) the 5th game in a row i believe that Strome has looked bad/disappointing. Starting to get closer and closer to that point where its impossible to keep defending him. I've tried to remain patient. He had a decent start after the first 10 games or so. But since then he's been regressing back towards what we saw last season(which was awful given his expectations).
Thank god we didn't overpay him or sign him long term.
I'm still not 100% quitting on him. But its heading that direction. I doubt he's part of our future beyond this season. |

The fact we aren't getting a good season from Strome makes our teams current form/position in the standings even more impressive. You'd think without Dach and Toews that getting a monster/breakout season from the former 3rd overall pick would be exactly what we needed. And without it we'd surely be doomed. Hasn't been the case. |

I hope he heats up and plays better. It is best for the Hawks if they have a hard decision whether to keep him or trade him. |

Me too. It would be amazing if he finally puts together a solid stretch of hockey. Only makes us stronger. |

The Hawks goalies were working on deflecting pucks to safe areas or defensemen in recent practices. It looks like Subban is taking that to heart. A bit dangerous sometimes, but it keeps the movement going. |

Hopefully, Subban doesn't have to stand on his head the whole game. But what a pass for that goal. - I Am The Breadman
Absolutely bread..... But they have to start playing better away from the puck. Getting out shot not having the puck is a receipe for a loss |

Konyrod compared DeBrincat to Datsyuk again (3rd time now by my last count). I love DeBrincat's dominant season so far but being in Datsyuk's class is rarefied air.
Galchenyuk traded again, this time to the Leafs. - Theo Fox

They have to play better with the puck - can’t complete a pass, can’t move the puck, can’t clear the zone, can’t transition through the neutral zone, can’t pressure Greiss.
Wings’ chances seem to mainly come from terrible Hawk puck management.
