For a guy that had a "Sweepstakes" coming into the League Vesey is pretty disappointing. I don't get it, has he regressed that much already or was he just overhyped? Never seen much of him until he became a leaf. The PP looked like trash last night. They should just load up PP1 until we get some competent bodies back.

He was a UFA, so a lot of teams wanted to sign him because there was zero risk. He was required to get an entry level contract.

Fans misinterpreted this as GMs thinking he was going to be a superstar.

He did have his own show and died just after Bowie appeared on it. That Bowie was such a trouble maker. Just ask poor Marrianne Faithfull

I believe what pisses people off about Vesey is that he is more talented than a player like the giraffe, he just doesn't seem to focus or have the drive or the willingness to suffer for the reward of success. This can be said about most underachieving players.

He actually wasn't beheaded -- CPR was performed on him even though it was pretty clear he was well past saving. (would be a bit embarrassing giving that to a severed head)

It was thought Bolan was killed when his car hit the now much-beribboned sycamore tree. He was, in fact, killed when his Mini hit a steel-reinforced fence post. Where previously he had been thought to have been crushed to death in the car, a new book reveals he suffered a horrific head injury from an eye bolt in the fence.

Not much CPR or a seatbelt would do IMHO. Miracle that Jones didn't die.

900k for someone who is not hurting us and can kill some penalties is not a disappointment to me. Not sure what we could have expected. Mickeyev is back to the third line

I would agree, but I believe it is because of effort not talent. The work ethic is evident with the giraffe, but he has lead hands. It's too bad he didn't play in the clutch and grab era.
