Leafs are not in a position they need to do anything with the roster.

They need 5 out of 6 points this week. That is what matters.

Ok buddy. I see this is going nowhere. And fast.

No wait, we're already there.

Don't worry, Phil did deserve the Conn Smythe. Phil has always been the hockey writers whipping boy.

Homer proposal for sure! Why would we do that trade? WN is a regular season player that my 14 yr old daughter can beat up. Demko is off to a rough start but he's projected to be our number 1. Also we've had way better offers for him than Woll.

Miller > Nylander
Demko > Woll

and for the rest, meh. We are in a slump but no way do we make that trade.

Miller and Demko were clutch for us last year, especially in the PLAYOFFS.

How did Nylander fair in the playoffs last year? I don't recall...

- Bakwas

Have some Fisherman's Friend to cure that sore throat from the Leafs sh!tting down the Canuck's throats for three straight. And BTW the Nucks haven't won in Toronto for 10 years. Enjoy

Like I said in a slump but we will bounce back. Ok now answer my question. How well does Nylander play in the playoffs?

Im having trouble finding Nylanders playoff stats, can you please help. Oh wait I found them. Miller had more playoff points in last years playoffs alone than Nylander has had in his career.

You keep doing you bro!

Canucks currently sit at 27% chance of making the playoffs. The giant pile of sh!t known as Loui Eriksson makes almost as much as Nylander and you're hanging around to troll. Good Luck with that. The Canucks are a giant tire fire and you are dilusional.

Playing 3rd line at $8m he better have some good #’s. He’s not Crosby or Malkin though. IMO
- Garnie

Kessel was technically making Nylander money in Pitts. We retained.

Kessel $8M/year = Leafs - $1.2M + $6.8M

Nylander $6.9M

Hmmmmmm?!?!?

In a thread with a guy in corn rows and a ducky banana hammock, you're managing to embarrass yourself even more.

Right... 😂😂😂

When he said Miller I legit thought Ryan Miller and then felt like I was Matthews checking out the back of some random dudes jersey.

Turns out he meant JT Miller as if anyone outside of Vancouver cares🤦🏻‍♂️

I said HE made $8m - I didn’t talk cap hit.

He wouldn’t have ever signed for 6.8

I'd say the main reason the Rangers gave JT away, was that he kept on taking incredible stoopid penalties - cost the team quite a few important wins. Always had the potential, but seemed to be borderline uncoachable...

Nah... you just never seem capable of presenting any facts or evidence to back up your "opinions". It would be refreshing to see some of that from time to time.

Nylander will almost certainly be traded...

... in the off-season.

I just can't see the Leafs keeping Willie when they have Hyman, Andersen (or his replacement), and Rielly in '22 to re-sign.

I actually really like BillNy, but there are more pressing needs for this team than continuing with an offensive-only complementary W.

- mjones242

Offensive only Leafs have best Goals Against in Division. But cliche, cliche cliche. Keep the skill player and if you can’t afford him, let Hyman go. If he wants a big raise you find a cheaper version

you might be right about it being a bad deal for the Nucks but you're argument about Nylander's playoff points is Trump legal defence stupid.

JT Miller has 9goals in 78 playoff games. He was good last year at age 27 but his playoff history prior to that was a poopstorm.

The reason the deal makes no sense for Nucks is b/c Demko. Why the (frank) would they move him. Holtby's done.
