fair enough, I like Marner, he makes mistakes and frustrates the hell out of me with blind back passes but also amazes on a regular basis. He's already very good and will be better IMO.

It's kinda insane. Marner is an incredible passer, but I also don't think anyone makes even close to as many bad passes as he does.

I'm sorry, I'm not buying this.

The idea for Pittsburgh was to have a star player on each line so the team would have to leave one open, which ended up being Kessel most of the time.

Guy produced more than anyone else in the playoffs. Yes he benefited from the team's strategy but that doesn't take anything away from him imo.

Giving it to Crosby was the easy choice and they went for it. Not that it was a terrible choice mind you, just thought Kessel deserved it more.

I feel it was almost stolen from Kessel. I thought he was clear and away the guy who deserved it.

Crosby did enough to look deserving and I think people who vote on it going "maybe its his last cup he deserves it." On top of some voters going "im not giving it to Kessel."

Quite often its the biggest numbers that get the trophy so its odd that it didn't happen.
