Might be the stronger part of their argument ....ie. finding that his words/actions incited or encouraged was going to be hard. But if they can show that he failed to act to prevent the damage that too is impeachable. Enough to convince more GOP's to vote ..probably not. But, big picture it's more facts on the table in the court of public opinion. And hopefully drives a few more Trump-Zombies into the abyss.

When my kid was 6 we signed him up for judo. My wife took him in for his first lesson and he made up a new name for himself when they got there. When the sensei found out it wasn’t his real name he suggested that maybe the discipline of judo might not be for him.

Oh he won't be convicted at this "trial". I've always stated that. However, that's one line amongst a laundry list of actions, words, inactions, social media evidence, statements from Qanon/ProudBoys, tweets where he selects angry music, replays and likes the violent acts of the ProudBoys, the evidence from GOP senators that he purposely avoided calling for help for the police, civilians, and congresspeople that were in the Capital, etc....

if this were a court of law the trial would be much different. We'd hear all the evidence and then we'd decide whether their could be a conviction. Currently we're debating about whether to hear the evidence of witnesses. Too early to call that shot Wedgie.

*And I'll add - my first comment this morning. I don't see a conviction on the issue of encouraging/inciting. What I said this morning was the Dems are re-focusing the evidence on his actions/inactions once he knew the Capital and the people inside were in trouble. This phone call with McCarthy, overheard and discussed by other GOP's, is interesting and worth hearing about.

I'm dying to get my daughter into BJJ. Not only does it build confidence but it also has real-world applications for women who are often over-powered by bigger, stronger men.

But how to get a sensitive young 8-year old interested in rolling with other kids in, what appears to be, very aggressive fashion. Therein lies the rub.

my son is 8 - very much on the sensitive side as well.
he's been taking taekwondo classes (at school; 2 times a week) - it's his favorite class of all, and absolutely not aggressive.
would highly recommend (contingent on the teacher, but in general taekwondo teachers are quite ok).

All I’ve been listening to is predictions of their demise since 2013. It’ll happen eventually, but so many of you have Boston occupying far too much real estate in your heads. You make the same prediction of a team’s demise and it’s eventually going to happen in a hard cap world, but if anyone here says “I told you Boston was going to suck this year”, when they eventually do, will surely be called out for it.

Many of you are obsessed with the Boston Bruins. It’s literally the same thing you complain about when other teams score board watch hoping for a Leafs L. Only difference is we actually won something.

The amount of times I come in here and hear complaining about a regular season penalty called against the team the Bruins are playing, which this year literally has 0 effect of the Leafs, is crazy.

The whole point is that this is a political matter, not a legal matter. The question is whether he is fit for office, not whether he broke any specific laws, as in a legal court case. If you think the total package of his behaviour leading up to the insurrection is fine for a president, well, cool. I don't, and would vote to convict in a heartbeat.

If you can get her to try three classes she (and you) should be able to see if it’s going to work for her. Sometimes something that checks all the right boxes just isn’t a fit. You may find the bigger stronger men issue is something that just mental and emotional confidence helps with as she grows.

Finding the activity she likes > getting her into the right one. Our daughter did figure skating (lasted 3 or 4 years but was probably a positive) and music which is her profession now.

I did wushu when I lived in China as a kid. There’s something about it that was really cool other than handling a sword as a child.

Bruins are fun if their fanbase has lost their arrogant edge. It’s a Freudian thing that goes with losing large Chara.

Yes. Lucic has 2 more years at 6 mil AAV left after this season. Flames were often criticized for being a soft team so they traded Neal for Lucic. Bad contract for bad contract.

I assume it just that the taxi squad is fancy robidas island (no game action) while the AHL will be playing hockey soon (maybe).

Getting my wife into The Expanse right now. It's a bit of an uphill battle but she's starting to get into it. I've only seen the first 3 seasons and I'm desperate to watch the next couple but I daren't force her to binge... yet.
