A beautiful snowy morning just back from walking the dog. Saw a very large moving truck manage to get stuck on a fully plowed side street blocking the whole street. It was a magnificent feat of stupidity.

The fact that the driver was wearing a Bruins toque adds nothing to the story.

We are up in the Huntsville area (fully complying with COVID protocols). It’s currently -22. It may be noon before I get out of bed.

Saw a family of deer cross the frozen lake yesterday. None fell on the ice like Bambi.

Habs fans wake up Sunday morning realizing they are desperately clinging to third place.

Try Line of Duty on Netflix, it’s a British version of an Internal Affairs division. If you can find them, Happy Valley and Wallander are good.

If you want a show with weird Norwegians like our buddy Peter try Sarajevo. It’s about a mob guy played by Little Steven from Springsteen’s band doing witness protection in Norway. Watched it a while ago but enjoyed.

Sara(frank)ingjevo was the '84 Olympics ffs. Lillehammer had the best ever Winter Olympics in '94 and the show is of course Lilyhammer. Was a monsterhit in Norway with lots of goofy and funny actors.

Pretty sure Sarajevo was the greatest Winter Olympics ever, which totally united the citizens and caused them to live together in the spirit of harmony, unity and religious tolerance for decades afterwards.

Getting ahead of myself - considering cap space I have to wonder if Holl is playing himself towards the 'protect' list for the expansion draft. Measuring things today probably not but if he keeps playing well into the summer ...hmmm?

Seems inconceivable that they'd consider moving a Rielly, Muzzin or Brodie but when you factor in cap space and the need to lock up a Goalie and maybe Hyman ..Lehtonen ..Simmonds. It'll be a consideration.
