I think that JB is trying to give TG the team he wants. Which I think is close to what he wants right now as seen by the mind boggling decisions Green has been making.

At the same time, why is JB re-signing Jake if he knows Green is just going to sit him.

The decisions that the two are making doesn't look like they are on the same page. Kind of like Benning and Brackett.

Jake is a frustrating player to keep tract of. You could see last year as players returned he would keep dropping in the line up. I am not going to blame Green for that . Jake is his own worst enemy. I am sure he is going to be moved or we lose him in the E draft.

Green needs his PK guys. Benning get's them for him.
- manvanfan

Rousell on PK1 is maybe the dumbest move I've seen Green make this year.

I understand Motte is injured but Sutter/Beagle/Horvat can handle the PK on top and maybe have Schmidt/Myers at the back for PK1?

I just dislike how Green benches/scratches guys like Mac/Jake when they actually play physical. I think these type of guys need some rope to play their games, they can play a Loui Eriksson positional style of hockey, they need to have the freedom to maybe go out of position to finish a hard check instead of worrying about their position on the ice and just looking lost.

Just my two cents. I agree that being out of shape and such is all on Jake.

Agreed on Roussel, even Pearson is a better choice to PK.

Schaller is all Benning from BUFF & BOS.

I highly doubt Green asked for specific players. I do believe he told Benning that to take the next step he needs better quality veteran players to guide the youth and help glue everything together. Benning relies on his pro-scouting team, which we all know is among the worst in the league.

I gave these to my EX for Valentines day, I told her they're also really good to eat raw. Then I bolted.

He didn't want Jake to get a hat trick before Sutter.

I don't get how a guy who has switched at least half of his amateur scouts to new guys, hasn't changed any pro scouts.

Sutter after that hatty was like “this should buy me a couple of months of not doing anything”

I think everyone on here is in favor of a full coaching change.

1. it's a start

2. You can move on from JB with only a year left after that

3. This franchise is doomed no matter who's at the helm.

JB doesn't have the skillset/support to take the team to the next level.

He's had 7 years, time's up.

He set the table to some degree, but it's time to bring in a closer.

Even FA has to see this.

I say scrap the GM too. Only because he was prevented by Columbus from making the worst trade in Canucks history (Dubois{5thpick}, Horvat and Tanev) FOR PK Subban! People forget that one too easily.

The next guy has never taken this team to the next level. Maybe given enough time it might actually be done. The grass is always greener on the other side even if it's brown and dead, with this fan base.
