Sounds like we really have our third line now haha. - 668710
If you can get them to score about 30-35 points each while playing good defense against opposing teams top lines, I'm good with it. Always felt they'd really be the 3rd line. Still no excuse for not getting some scoring depth for the other bottom 6 line |

Yes... Should be easy to assemble a better 4th line. Scevior doesn't bother me as much, but Jank and Laff don't belong in the NHL. - madmike71
I still don’t see anyone saying why jank is so terrible. He’s not making mistakes. He’s actually putting in effort. He’s soft and it doesn’t amount to anything but with his 2 wingers what would be expected. I don’t think jank isn’t replaceable by any means but he isn’t doing anything wrong out there. |

I watched this with my 4 year old... There were extended periods of lego building , Transformer battles and a game of hide in seek in the 2nd period. Needles to say the game didn't get my full attention but the times we were zoned in there was a lot to like.
Regulation win for the win! |

Maybe Pettersson can be moved for picks and then the capspace used to pick up a serviceable bottom 6 player from a team looking to move a contract
Pettersson for a 2nd and a prospect and then pickup a bottom 6 player for a 6th would be good asset and cap management |

His relative numbers are dog poop so I don’t think it’s just a linemates problem. A defensive specialist that doesn’t suppress scoring chances is worse than useless. |

Don’t be shocked if #8 and goalie gets moved ....after we trade Pett’s. And Zucker
Our third line is our new #2 line.
How many times did they knock into Jarry tonight and knock the goal over. Bring up Nolan sit Lafferty. |

His line is terrible. Laff is always out of position chasing the play. Sceviour is generally safe but consistently weak at clearing the puck, which is the exact play that led to the caps pp goal. All 3 can be replaced but Laff should be the first person gone. Out of the 3 jank is the only one hustling. Some other available 4th line centre won’t be any better. I’d keep the person who puts in effort last out of the 3. |

The point of getting a little more physical player Via trade is so Tanev can play hockey and not chase around the goons on the other team. Wilson is an effective Goon... |

I would definitely not do that. Honestly, If I could find a way to make our 4th line better, that would be my first move. Try to find a vet tender too. - madmike71
I think finding someone to replace one of Zucker or Kap on that line is the first move. Geno needs someone who can finish at this point of his career. |

He's actually below replacement level. He is god awful and provides nothing positive. |

I'm sorry but Geno's problems are not due to quality of wingers. He is the problem right now. I'd the Pens had even an ok 3C I suggest giving that guy those two as wingers and dropping Malkin down. |
