One impressive stat is how the Leafs are 8th best in SA/G. Granted, it's not like the North is a world-beater division but it's still nice to see that team defense has tightened up considerably.

Suddenly the Leafs right side d-men look pretty damn good. Brodie is settling in nicely, I've always thought Holl was underrated but he's been leaps and bounds better than expected, and Bogo has been a pleasant surprise.

If the Leafs could add another physical presence to the forward group (like a Nick Foligno, Crouse, Bennett), I think this team finally finds some balance and is a legit Cup nightmare contendaaah.

He's a feel good story but I think he's pretty clearly declined since he scored 30 back in *checks notes* '11-12.

I don't buy him as a legit Top 6 guy on a contender. But with injuries, who knows?

Just be surprised to see him go for a 2nd. Never know though, there's some goofy GMs out there.
