I think all 3 coaches need to go. Offence won’t shoot. D is garbage. Same with pp and pk. Not a single coach has an area of the game that is even lg average. - 10inchTerror
At least we are watching the same team....it’s not our effort. The more I watch the inability to clear the front of the net is the issue. #2 needs to be in the press box |

I think Kunitz was alot better than he gets credit for. - stackthepads
I don’t feel like Pens fans undervalued him. I think by about 2012 or whenever it was that the Kunitz-Malkin-Neal line ripped the league a new bumhole we all knew he was his own man not just being carried by Sid.
I think the guy our fanbase undervalued was Duper. |

I said a few weeks ago that I thought ZAR had the tools to possibly be effective in Hornys role on the PP.... Id like to seem them just try it a few times... |

Pens need more from Geno. |

Got to beat the Islanders in regulation. Standings are too tight to be giving them a point.
The more I watch this team, the more I realize this is a fundamentals and talent problem than it is hustle. I think we are so used to being so talented over the years that we automatically think that must be the problem... the guys are trying... they just dont have the talent to play the way they think they can play and lack the structure to play the way they need to play.
Letang is brutal. He keeps clearing the puck down the middle of the ice. No idea why he keeps doing it. |

Definitely agree. Not seeing the same quit I saw last year. It’s something else but whatever it is it’s just as fatal. |

Definitely a better period than the first. If ZAR is the answer to the third line we may actually be an average to above average team.

Three biggest issues for me...
1) The PP sucks. Predictable and plain.
2)When they gain possession 5v5, they don't move play towards the net. They keep trying to set up around the perimeter like they're on the PP and guess what, see #1.
3) Regardless if they had much better goaltending, they let far too many chances in the high danger areas. They don't push teams the perimeter. |

Jank looked like "the answer" in game one. I wouldn't get too excited. ZAR gonna ZAR.

He worked well with Blueger and Tanev last year. If you get an upgrade to the line he would be the odd man out.
Blueger is team leader in 5v5 points. Just saying.

Those three are awesome together. It's just not a third line. I know Blueger is doing well, but I'm just not sold on him as a 3C. |
