Mm and Letang playing well so far. I’m honestly quite happy with ceci in his 3rd pair roll. Marino man he’s being a clown.
FYI I started watching right before nyi scored incase something stupid was done. |

I’m not liking O’Connor. He seems decent around the net but man is he afraid of contact. Like wtf did sully tell him. Hit someone and get benched |

I wouldn’t be against it. - Grinder47
He scored a goal last night you would appreciate. Goes hard to the net and has skill.
Honestly him, with Sid and Tanev would be reminiscent of the juggernaut of a line that was Tatar-Datsyuk-Helm from the 14/15 season. |

Well aside from the pretty goal that was a pretty poop period. Not worse than the Isles feed though. The old (frank) on their tandem is dumb as poop. He starts out the game by saying the Pens really aren't that good and not as good as their record would indicate. After the Pens score he says well, this is a good team, nobody said it would be an easy game. |

Do stats fans still try to poop on the Islanders 4th line? Or did they just stop trying? - Grinder47
Pure stats nerds still try to poop on them.
Hockey people that value stats understand that their stats aren't great but realize they bring something that stats can't quantify, and that is heart, passion, and emotion. That can feed adrenaline and emotion throughout the whole team. |

I think Geno speaks English as good as Pageau. |

This is still the one step forward, two steps back team.
Put together a pretty decent period, set up a nice goal by the Crosby line, but a fumbled puck in our own zone and a puck thrown over the glass... and we are down to end another first period.

Stat geeks will create a "arena humidity complex" stat before the recognize that grit exists. - stackthepads
It’s not even grit anymore. They are just good hockey players made better by playing with each other. |

Can anyone guess which Penguins was on the ice for the most high danger chances again? |

Have the Islanders attempted a shot outside of fifteen feet? It seems they are skating around or thru our "defense". |

I think Sid needs predictable wingers who can keep the puck in the offensive zone, as well as a certain level of puck skills. Think about it. Duper and Kuntiz were good but they weren’t reinventing the wheel. |

Did the Pens after canning Martin just not bother to replace him? I dont remember our defense ever being this sloppy in the middle of the ice. |

Our goalie are a little off tonight .800 save %.....we could put cones there and get the same result.....Marino needs to be a scratch .... |

I think you have it backwards. Sid needs wingers who are prepared for the unpredictable and know how to react. |

I think all 3 coaches need to go. Offence won’t shoot. D is garbage. Same with pp and pk. Not a single coach has an area of the game that is even lg average. |
