Miller has been brutal this year and playing like he doesn't care. My opinion only.

Amazingly enough he doesn't have a NTC clause. Trade him to OTT.

My assessment is they played better for stretches, but a couple of bad breaks cost them. I feel like they are sloooooooowly getting to a compete level of an NHL team. They will be even better Saturday, we all know that Markstrom gets hot but he also is prone to lapses in his focus too. This team needs to keep the tempo up and be more patient. I will agree with everyone Miller looks awful, good for Brock though he has been good-his best play is the defensive recovery on Mangiapane. That was a good effort and once everyone else figures out that's what is required they will play better as a group. Hoglander is a lot of fun to watch he's good with the puck and he makes smart plays by hanging on to the puck.

I don't know if you seen the interview with that lady Christine Simpson and Burkie? Burkie in on take says Pitts were lucky they won a franchise player with the drop of a God damn lotto ball.

Next interview he was all happy now about winning Crosby.

- VANTEL

he was also the guy who came in second for crosby so i can understand his frustration.

thank heavens that anh did not win that damn lottery! the west would have been impossible.

I loved Holtby's stare down to him. Will gladly take Debrusk . He looked very good last game .
- VANTEL

That stare down was and will be a classic.
DeBrusk would be a decent acquisition.

Komorov on waivers. I use to like him but no.
- VANTEL

lol Rousell looks more engaged last night but Komorov here? Could you imagine if he was the spark the team needed?

He looks slow and is 34 with a contract like the ones we are trying to get rid of

But I do like his antics.

I wanted Canucks to sign Perry this year at 1 mil

Hopefully Aqua is smart enough to see Benning has to go first. They lose this home stand and there's no real way to make the playoffs.

Fire Benning, start a search. Better to have the GM there through the season to evaluate with Seattle and TDL to be sellers.

Let Green ride out the season. When the team is on, they're a fun team to watch. Let the GM evaluate and go from there.

- NewYorkNuck

This. I agree.

I’m out of the fire / trade debate from here, not that the speculation isn’t fun, it’s just obvious that some change will happen and it’s just a matter of time. I’ll wait and see what FA decides.

It was a much cleaner & more entertaining game for the Canucks, which is what I wanted to see. A win would have been better.

Would be good. I'm thinking there's a power struggle in the room. Somethings not right.

The world is going so backwards it's filtering into Hockey lol

Last year OJ was a complete bust and Boeser should be traded for lack of interest. Now Juolevi looks good...Boeser and Hogs have looked great and now Bo, Miller, Petey and Hughes are the ones under fire

#bizzaroworld man...

Nope, I know what the market is paying per square foot and the offer we got was one of those ‘can’t refuse type’ plus we paid half the realtor fees that we normally would have

Not to go on but the downtown condo market is in trouble. Downtown is turning into a poop hole tbh and city hall is enacting laws that really screw the landlord. For the single condo owner like me it’s a losing proposition.

Thumbs up

Have a few friends over here on the island who have bid on houses and missed. Unconditional, $200k over asking. People are getting 15-20 offers, it’s stupid.

Yeah, single detached market is booming. It’s my one big regret not getting into it early. We got a great place here in Cultus but it’s a bit remote and too cottagie to benefit from the boom.

Just had friends looking on Salt Spring. They went on Monday, day 3 of showings, over 50 people. They put in an offer $50 000 higher and didn't get it. Someone else bid higher with no subjects including no inspection.

They are desperate to get out of Vancouver.

Some yes...but man sooner or later the players have to step up. If we are relying on Hogs, OJ and Boeser to be our go to guys we are in serious trouble lol. I think the team will get it together somewhat but again with this format probably too little too late. We aren't the 2019 STL Blues where coming from last in January is going to happen lol

But yes the Universe seems to be backwards against us...be we do need to help ourselves too. Sh!it will happen...bad goals will go in. Some bad puck luck for Boeser on the tip off the post but that;s how it's going right now.

I was born and raised in VAN, it was a great place to grow up. Expo 86 changed everything. I have no desire to even visit Vancouver anymore.

I think you will see better hockey from here on in. There may be more back steps but in general you will see their game clean itself up. Having the ability to practice will sure help.

Had a discussion with a single mother from there, she maintains 3 part time jobs, barely can pay her bills and says she is extremely lucky that her parents live there, to babysit.
I asked her about moving away from the city and she says that costs money that she didn't have.
Pretty sad.

Not just that but also all the social stuff. In yaletown there was like five new social welfare developments going in. All needed but way too concentrated. Downtown is for the very rich or very poor.

IMO, they need to implement playing some basic hockey, like crashing the net, throwing a body check, and quit throwing blind passes to the middle of ice.
