I’m starting to miss losing.

I'm worried the COVID vaccine roll-out is going to go well, and I'm going to have to spend a ton of money on playoff tickets!

there was something wonky going on with the shot counts last night.
NST and money puck have a decent advantage for the Habs, watching the game didnt match up and I saw several people mentioning on twitter that there were shots/attempts that werent counted or counted as a blocked shot when it wasnt.

NST has the shots 30-15 at 5v5 but the high danger cf 9-10

anyone else feel the shots didnt make sense?

- senstroll

Throughout the game every time the announcers would comment about the shot differential, I'd keep saying to myself, that's because they aren't counting the Leafs shots.

There's been a lot of games this year were that's been the case. I've female doged about it on here many a times, because it's screwing my goalies in my fantasy leagues numbers.

I was thinking of how I'm of the age where I want to bang the Tide moms because they'd be some young strange.

My friend is on a Tide commercial as a mom.

If only the Leafs were so lucky to be considered the 90's braves.
The bruins have made the finals three times in the that time span winning once.
That's 3 more times than the leafs have made the finals in the past 50 years!

- Fakepartofme

I'm not talking about the Leafs. I'm taking a negative, megadowner perspective on recent Bruins history.

You jest, but I'm actually worried I'm gonna start boozing hard again once I can go get a pint.

Gonna need a new pub, though, since mine died to Covid.

My local has done a bit of a refurb - I've peered in the windows and it looks really, really nice.

I just want to go back, sit at the bar, have a couple of pints and watch sports.

Or take the family, have a nice dinner, watch the first two periods of the Leafs game.

4 in 10 Republicans say violence may be necessary “to protect traditional American values” and almost 3 in 10 believe Q conspiracy theories (Trump fighting a Democratic sex ring)

So, keep Gitmo ready to go go

I REALLY miss winning. I realize now I took it for granted. Cup or bust I'd say. I'd like to tell my younger version to go (frank) myself.

There was nothing dirty on that play. Nothing.

You can'T call a high stick when he's already sliding on the ice. That's a low stick.

Then Tavares slides into his legs and Weber falls on him.

Doesn't even look at Tavares the whole time.

- Scabeh

are people seriously arguing that was a dirty play by Sean Weber??

Pub is gone and now it's a Thai restaurant. There's a few other places around me, so hopefully one of them can be a stand in. (frank) the Tara Inn, though. They're scum.

As much as I miss having a pint and watching the game there, I miss having good pub food.

I'm doing a pretty good job right now because I have nothing to do.

Might change if I get back out there. I'll most likely just stick to beer, though, so that's probably good.

You seriously don't think there was a forearm to the back of the neck? You really don't see that?

Completely different play/situation.

And you keep bringing it up. Yet again.

- Scabeh

Well, maybe because Habs fans could not possibly see how Kreider was tripped into him and are somehow convinced that Kreider intentionally blew out Price's knee. The same Habs fans who don't seem to see a problem with Leafs goalie concussions from the accidental head contact in the Leafs crease.

I don't know what to tell you.

What happened there wasn't even a penalty.

You can't call a high stick when the stick is 1 feet off the ground. There's just no way.

And I see nothing in that replay that sees Weber look at Tavares or even try to hit him in the head. He just falls on him.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

- Scabeh
