Ah politicsbuzz. It's not like the biggest game of the season against the teams oldest rival is happening tonight. Nope. |

The IHME projects rates will start to rise again soon and then drop off starting in the third week in March. A more rapid spread of the variants makes it worse and universal mask use makes it much, much better and quicker. - Canada Cup
Oh God I'm hoping for an early spring.
As long as I can have friends into the backyard, I can go until September on some variation of lockdown.
But this social isolation in a cold, dark climate thing is really starting to affect my mental health. |

The team also battled a pandemic in their first season, so maybe a virus is the team's oldest rival? |

I would agree circa 2012 when that was drawn. |

Some optimistic news ..
14.5 million Ontarians. 20% are under 16 (no vaccine) ..poor (frank)ers. 70% is said to be the "public immunity" comfort rate. So by my math we need to immunize about 8 million Ontarians to gain that comfort rate.
JT is promising 8.5+ full vaccinations in Ontario by late June. Add to that - the earliest studies are showing significantly reduced transmissibility after one dose.
I'm optimistically planning for some modest social bubble type 'gatherings' maybe even as early as May long weekend. |

No idea. But the Leafs were a mess in 2012 and I can understand not wanting to rep the gear. |

Tampa did a really good job of not getting better this off season. I think there's a good chance the Jays finish ahead of them. |

Wearing shoes might hurt the Blue Jays playoff chances. More slipping and sliding. Better stick with cleats. |

If the Astrazeneca approval comes this week or next then they 'should' be able to meet their goals.

So im pretty sure this will be a 6-2 Habs win tonight. My inlaws have an affinity for that Habs, and the Guelph Storm.
I see Nick Suzuki scoring 2 goals (Guelph Storm) so I get to hear about how good he is, Josh Anderson getting 2 goals, and Jeff (The Norris) Petry gettting a goal
Empty net goal by Paul Byron... |

I like how you think.
And yes, Jeff Petry is on his way to the Norris.
