I didn’t get to respond to your ridiculously long post about me not being a Hayes fan, so I’ll respond here. My preference is my preference. I reserve the right to feel how I feel about athletes, celebrities or even people in my everyday life. I’m also not a fan of Kevin Hart, Judge Judy, Shia LaBeouf or Gene Simmons. I know they have their fans, I’m just not one of them. I think Hayes is overpaid and overrated by this fan base. So far Hayes has proved me wrong in terms of offense but he’s an average two way center at best. I don’t think he’s funny. I don’t think he’s that special of a player. I’m sure he’s a good guy, as I’m sure Kevin Hart is. They’re just not a preference of my own in the profession they’re in.

I understand that, and I feel the same about the stars you mentioned.

The difference is, I don’t watch Judge Judy. I don’t listen to Kiss. I don’t buy tickets to LeBeouf movies, and I don’t go to Hart shows. They have zero impact on me and my take in of media.

That’s not true for Hayes. He affects my team. He influences their play, and I cannot but a black spot over him on TV. The dude is gonna be there.

Of course you’re free to like who you wish, but don’t you at least get what I mean? Especially on the contract thing. Not his fault. Blame the team.
