Honest, though. I still have concerns about the D. Not sure we need to keep Gus in the lineup just for his offensive skills; I'd rather see more of Ghost, especially on the PP (less Provy so he can spend more of his allotment in defense of his zone during 5v5 and PK time).

I hope Fletcher and the coaches suss it out because while they probably make the playoffs, the defense is just not there right now to make a deep run.

Of course, I'll admit things are skewed this game because while Myers was back in, Sanheim was out. But you know if Travis was still in, it would have been Hägg who would still be a healthy scratch.

There is a hockey term you don't hear much. High end jaw droppers. Flyers have some very talented young players and some highly skilled veteran players.

It doesn't matter. I know at least it's not where it needs to be. There's still some depth to try something else while (I hope) Fletch is addressing it. And they don't have the luxury of 69 remaining games to suss it out this season (they actually have 3/4 of a season plus 1 game—43 in total—to do it).

No seriously, he is doing well this year and hopefully will keep this up. I even suggested to give him 1st line minutes with Giroux and Couturier, to give him every opportunity to grow his confidence, but he is doing well on the line he is one so shouldn't touch it.

If the Flyers do have elite talent, you are right, I don't recognize it. I will tell you this though, its not coming from Patrick. He had a really tough game today matched against the Ovechkin line, and another game with no offense what-so-ever. Looked awful on the PP too!

Flyers depth shows tonight. All points cam from bottom 6 players, since Coots played on the bottom 6 this afternoon he falls under that category.
