Goalies are weird. They can range from the most important part of the team to being entirely inconcequential.
I don't think you need a great goalie to be successful, but goddamn, you're doomed if you have a bad one.
And the disparity is often minimal, but I get it. Shiny new toys for fans of a team sitting in 2nd place. Gibson is good, but Andersen isn't half as bad as he's made out to be. It'd be a minor upgrade at best, and an unnecessary one to spend prime assets on.
