For years Leaf’s defence has sucked. There’s no other way to say it. At points we’ve been able to outscore the problem. Our forward depth is still stronger that our defensive depth. But we want to move a starting a defencman. Oh, and most of these people want Hutch and Woll to be our starting goalies for the next two weeks while we wait for Gibson to clear quarantine. I’ve lost track of who we give up for this move.

A few years ago, you could look on the NHL stats pages and sort stats like hits and giveaways/takeaways by home and away.

The discrepancies were hilarious. There was one team that had a stingy hits counter - they had less than 50% of hits at home as they did on the road.

I truly believe it was so embarrassing to the league that they took it off.
