Are you seriously blaming this game on Jarry?

I think Jarry could of been a bit sharper on a few for sure. That penalty at that stage of game plus a weak kill is just shooting yourself in the foot. Their own fault. Could of had two points or at least one no sweat.

Look at his name, he posts about as good as Geno is playing this year.

First things first, DeSmith needs to start going forward. He's not great, but he plays with confidence. Jarry made some nice saves, but he's not making enough of them.

Yea Blueger can't do that and then the kill sucked so a lose lose.

This is the NHL you need timely saves . It’s hard to blame Jarry on that last goal. Why thirdwheel is out there on the pp kill. Put him in the press box

When Jarry was named an all-star, he had a GAA around 2 in 21 games.

His past 22 regular season games (start of 2020), he's given up at least 3 goals 16 times.

Let down by the defense some? Sure. But he's not playing well enough.

It’s hard to blame him but the fact of the matter is you need have one game with a save % over .900. This not the Tuesday night beer league

He had plenty of timely saves on 2 on 1’s, partial break always, wide open shots from the a lot. There was 2 goals that he never had a shot on. The defensive play is a joke and has cost this team a lot of goals against.

Yeah like for instance on that 3rd goal against... If he was more aware or quicker he could of covered it. I'm a mixed bag on him this evening because he also made some very nice saves and stretches of solid play.

Just seems like one F up and its in the Pens net haha... Team played pretty solid for most part besides the goals against

Lafferty out there on the pk. Why? Letang losing us the game pretty much single handily. Goaltending hasn’t won us a single game yet this season. Coaching change needed. This season is painful.

Happy to see Malkin finally show some life tonight.

It's reasonable to put some blame on Jarry. You need your #1 to bail you out sometimes.

The bulk of the blame falls on Blueger for taking a stupid penalty and Letang for being horrible tonight. Matheson sucked and is largely the player we all thought he was.

Crosby's line looked good tonight, even Malkin's line put together some nice shifts. The bottom 6 doesnt look like there is much there. Turnovers by the 4th line led to a goal and the 3rd line can possess the puck well, but that needs to generate chances.

All in all, this team is a fringe playoff team. You cannot keep handing points away like this. I could see them finish 3-6 in the division.

4-6. No chance at cracking the top 3. But hopefully can beat the ny’s, nj, and Buffalo to stay in 4th.

They stating to click but the defensive miscues are brutal. They need someone to clear the net at some point.

While I thought they looked pretty good for stretches tonight... And they lost on a PK in the dying mins.... There's definitely holes currently but I can't call them bad yet.

Goal tending and team defense. They don't have it and I'm not sure they can fix those things.

They are not bad. But they aren’t good either. They are a mediocre middle-of-the-table team. They might luck out and sneak into the playoffs as a 4th seed, but they won’t last very long. Just a disjointed organization. Besides a few flashes, it’s like they had never played with each other before. Sully is probably going to say the same thing “we didn’t play the game the right way ... yada yada yada”. Pens need a change of scenery at the helm.

Oh, and Letang is such a bonehead.

Not in the near future. Matheson, Ceci, and Ruhwedel on his off-side.

Guessing ZAR steps in on the 3rd line if McCann is out for a while.
