The team really has an issue with that. They get caught flat footed and watching too often when there's a turnover.

Feel like that guy was tied to the Penguins multiple times with trade rumors when he was with the Oilers.

It's just so frustrating to watch the Pens go to work sometimes. They gain the zone and have possession, but instead of getting to the net they keep trying to spread out like they're on the PP.

Don’t k ow if this is a part of a new defensive scheme but I’ve noticed a couple times tonite they completely cède the neutral zone and have 4 standing at the blue line. Not liking it.

I mean generally every play is after a turnover in one way or another. I don’t recall specifically but I saw them do that 3-4 times I think.

Based on what I'm reading, looks like the Penguins are considering Kevin Weekes and Dee Rizzo for the GM job, both pretty unconventional candidates.

Neither have NHL executive experience with Rizzo being a player agent and Weekes being an analyst.

I'm interested to see how this goes. You can make an argument for either, but still think the Penguins play it safe and go get an established guy who used to be a GM like Hextall.
