I said before I have no problem adding Gibson and who can argue with losing vague picks, prospects and a player. Every proposal I’ve heard to fill in those names sounds way too much to address what to me isn’t that big a problem. Who’s the decent player, Nylander? Forget it. Dermott, everyone laughs.
Andersen’s SV% is similar to or better than other starters, except for Hellebuyck in the Division. We’re in good shape in goals against. I’m not shipping out significant assets to fix a non-existent problem - Canada Cup
I'd love Gibson, though. |

Leafs have the 13th ranked prospect pool according to the latest ranking. It is deep on the tier below star prospects. They have some room to give up there.
Freddy is an easy piece to add, and he does have value of a 2nd round pick and a prospect.
Freddy is an average starter and its a position I'd like to add to if I am Dubas. - Santo_44
What are you proposing? Andersen, and some “below tier prospects” and a pick? How much value did Freddy being a 2nd round pick have when the Ducks let him go? |

Robertson would be the guy I entice them with. Along with a 1st round pick. Those are two real good pieces.
ducks could re sign him or trade him at the TDL at 50 percent retention and get some value picks and prospects. |

We overvalue Robertson.
the 1st would be 26-31st most likely.
Its really not a lot to give up for a young star goalie. |

He did not have the best year last year.
Was a top 3 goalie every year before that, and is showing this year that last year was a fluke...Freddy not so much. |

So what dan cant be fired cause he was open about his mental health? Tsn made cuts, dan was a loose cannon, they let him go. - Fakepartofme
His daughter was kidnapped or seemingly was. You'd be pretty messed up from that.
Bell had just recieved 122 million in covid money.
Its really poor timing. |

tbh, just speaking form my own experience, Dan likely is dealing with some mental health issues due to marijuana and alcohol use.. |

Goalies never fetch a large value in trade. Point to some please.
I think the trade would be Andersen, 1sr round pick and like Engvall to even out cap space. Don't forget they are not just looking for value but to rid themselves of long term cap issues. |

Substance abuse usually stems from some other issue and is a symptom of the problem.
I am not saying he has to be employed because of mental health issues.
I am only suggesting its pretty sad of all the timing. |

All you guys trying to trade for Gibson need to look at past goalie trades. Goalies don't demand the kinds of prices you guys are throwing around. |
