Listened to the morning show per usual, only to have a colleague ask why 1290 was playing music late this morning. Very disappointing and hard to imagine any replacement on the way (other Winnipeg centered sports radio).

Was he right about Copp?
Copp is having a good run on 2nd line LW but if he was at 2C I doubt he's having this success, not sure but I think Rexy was saying the stats had already proven Copp was a 2nd line center which to me he wasn't productive enough when there.

As for DeMelo I'm sure his play will improve, he missed some games and just had a kid so that's a lot for anyone to deal with but he's been bad, idk how anyone could say or think otherwise.
