But the goals are less then the expected 5v5, which is better then last year so far.

I’ve said it lots, don’t care who’s in nets but some need to take a good look at what they call weak goals. I’ll cheer for Roger if he’s in our god damn nets and defend him if I don’t think it’s a bad goal. 🤣

I do think the Leafs will get Bennet this year...I just don't know when. It could be closer to the TDL.

Both Lou and Dubas have been rumoured to like him over the years.

Lots of ways they can do it. Wonder if they would upgrade Kerfoot for this season...like Kerfoot to Sabres for Staal and a pick. Then send picks to CGY for Bennet.

Actually he has lately. The leafs were trying to lose (it seemed like) in the last 20 seconds or so of the game against Edm - that save he made with 9 seconds or less was incredible. Got them a point.

That "Mistake" was due to a skate getting caught in a rut in the ice. Great save though

Im not sure Staal is a huge upgrade over Kerfoot.

cap hit accumulation.

Plus with Buffalo's great cap situation they should be able to retain Staal's with zero issues. They will have to take back cap if they trade Hall away as they would be under the cap.
