And that's one for my bingo card.
Can't wait for the other nonsense to show up. - Scabeh
I'm still waiting for some evidence to refute what basic and advanced stats have clearly identified.
But hey, that's just nonsense-talk. |

Yup. It's not Freddie's fault -- it's clearly the defensive system that is to blame. |

Oh I'm not gonna defend Andersen. I haven't watched enough Leafs game to make a call on his play.
I was only talking about the Price nonsense.
Carry on. I'm waiting for the other Rogers quotes to fill my bingo card. |

38th in save %... - RogerRoeper
Didn’t realize there were that many starters in the league. You including goalies that play 1 or 2 games?
Leafs expected goals 24th 🤷🏻♂️ |

I feel like with Freddie, the magic number is 3.
If he can hold the other team to 3 goals or less, it's up to the rest of the team to win. - Atomic Wedgie
I feel like his magic number is why the (frank) can't he make a save without sliding out of the crease or ending up on his stomach flailing away like Scabeh looking for his car keys after another long night at Chez Paree. |

Ok I’ll blame Freddie for the 7-2-1 record.
Damn you Freddie 🤬😡🤬 |

Never a Hellyebuck from last night 🤣 - Garnie

Josh Anderson goal in game 1.
Come on, the guy doesn't even crack top 20 starters right now. - RogerRoeper
I agree on that goal, and some others. I didnt like the Kahun goal from last game either. He does have a penchant for letting in some soft goals, but he has been pretty solid this year for the most part.
I would like to see an upgrade, but its not happening this year. He hasnt been the big problem. Our 5v5 play and lack of goals there has been.

Lots of run and gun games, I haven’t seen to many creepy goals. JMO
I’m ready for the upgrade, we had Lehner. I’m not the Gm so i cheer for what we have.

Food for thought:
5 of the top 9 teams in goals for are in the Northern Division.
5 of the bottom 13 teams in goals against (including the worst 3 - Ottawa, Vancouver, Edmonton) are in the Northern Division.
Goalie stats for Canadian teams are not going to be pretty this year - it's the nature of the beast. |

Great so the Leafs defensive stats are even more promising.
Holl is actually a top pairing D in the east division |
