I’m guessing it’s something that’s been building over time culminating with something egregious last night. He also hasn’t really been effective outside of being somewhat so on the pp. he is redundant as an offensive rhd on our team and is clearly not making any friends in the locker room. Any way you look at it doesn’t bode well for him.

Well, this was a nice surprise upon checking the blog for the first time since last night.

Only someone that's never played the game at any level thinks fights don't happen in practice or the lockerroom.

Yea but Vin you have to trust that they wouldn’t just put him on waivers solely just on this alone. We are talking about someone who has a history of this type of behavior. You’re setting a bad example if you’re going to allow for this to continue. You don’t want this to continue to manifest itself. It’s not good for anyone. Tony has a lot of talent no doubt but you can’t allow it. It’s been an ongoing issue and I’m sure it’s something the Rangers were willing to live with but at some point ya gotta be like enough is enough.

Exactly, which means whatever happened here goes way beyond just this scrap after another disappointing game.

We don't know the details, but clearly this was not done because of one incident. This event was the tipping point of enough being enough. Let's see if he gets claimed and what additional information comes out.
