How aggression getting to pucks, his poke pass to farabee, his back checking, and his willingness to get dirty in front of the net are exciting to watch

He's just so limited with the puck. Sitting out this long certainly doesn't help him but he belongs in the '90's NHL.

The Flyers struggle more against the Islanders because they can't handle their skilled but heavy forwards and all their big D men (who aren't a Hall of Fame lot -- not a Norris Trophy candidate in the bunch but the right guys for Trotz's style -- than they do because of the Eberle and Bailey types. Those guys will beat you at times because they are skilled but the Flyers have players like that, too. And Barzal gives pretty much every team fits.

With all respect, I don't see any Flyers forward as fast as Barzel, Baily or Eberle. TK and Laughton are probably the fastest the Flyers have.
