In systems play, the first forward back will normally play the center spot defensively. That is not a specific look just for Morin.

I've seen everyone at times cover it this is true. And I believe you. But keep an eye for it in the 2nd and tell me if it doesn't look like they are trying to get him in that position. Theyre not going to blow a coverage for it but it absolutely seems like that's where they want him to be. Let me know what you think after the 2nd

Ideally your center plays more defense but the first forward back is expected to even things up. This was a difference in play when we brought Gagne back from LW. He was great for getting back.

Ghost has been great and its not debatable. Small sample size. If he plays the entire season this way expansion gets very complicated.

AV did just that, and so far they responded with a 1st period that is very tough to critique. Fine job, fellas. Good hockey.

Honestly, I don't need to do that. I know AV's systems. They aren't going to change systems play for one player. Think about the confusion that could create. If he's out there with different linemates etc.

Let us know your thoughts if you think he plays a sound positional game.

Flyers got to start getting some rubber on the Islanders now ...

The Islanders are taking over this game .. no shots since 13 minutes of the 1st period for the Flyers, they are back to being outskated again ... and as type this the Islanders score .. no surprise
